Pub of the week: The Swan at Enford

Pub of the week: The Swan at Enford

The hub of its village community for over 350 years, this historic pub maintains a loyalty to local sourcing and is our top tip for this weekend.

Recently lovingly restored, The Swan sits on the River Avon. Just seven miles north of Stonehenge, it’s a popular destination and pit stop for cyclists and walkers, thanks to the National Cycle Network (Route 45).

It’s easy to see why The Swan was voted Wiltshire Life magazine’s 2017 Pub of the Year. Open for lunch and evening meals, with plenty of pub classics on the menu, the bar hosts a fantastic selection of Wiltshire brewed ales, including our fruity Golden Bolt pale ale, packed with peach flavour, and our hoppy and zesty Piston Broke. And there is a great looking pub garden for sunny day beer cheer.

But, should the sun not be shining when you visit, rest assured inside - this pub’s in one of the The Telegraph’s 30 cosiest!

It’s a must for this long weekend, Box Steam fans - enjoy!
