Pub of the week: the Kings Arms

This weekend, we recommend checking out the Kings Arms, in the village of Monkton Farleigh, near Bradford on Avon.

Have no fear on the pub’s claim to being Wiltshire’s most haunted – you’ll receive a warm welcome from Dean and Grant, who recently took on the management of this 17th century inn with rooms.

The new menus feature regularly changing dishes, popular Sunday lunches and breakfast at the weekend.

Piston Broke, our hauntingly good golden ale and Golden Bolt, our hoppy, fruity pale ale are on the bar – and next week, our new Brolly APA will feature.

The pub quizzes at this village pub sound a bit good too. So there you have it ladies and gents, the Kings Arms is royally deserving of our pub of the week tip – it’s the place to head.

We’ll never produce factory style beer. Our creative brewers use hop flavours to their full, forever artful in the quite wondrous production of naturally flavoursome beer.

Our roots are firmly in the West Country, where we continue to be inspired by the engineering triumphs of the late great Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
