Pub of the week: The Boathouse

The forecast is looking great for another weekend and that’s excuse enough for a trip to the Bradford on Avon marina.

A beautiful spot for relaxed dining, the Boathouse is ideally situated for enjoying the sunshine and watching the world pass by, along the Kennet and Avon Canal.

Food is served from 12 noon until 9pm, and our team can particularly vouch for the Boathouse’s Scotch eggs (when available)! A perfect pairing for our beautifully engineered beers – currently on the bar, our gloriously citrus Spring IPA and deliciously decadent chestnut, Stokers Quench.

In tribute to the big royal day on Saturday, bookings are now being taken for al fresco afternoon teas, with Prosecco.

Regular comedy nights and popular Sunday lunches also feature at this waterside spot, as do a friendly welcome and service.

Phew, where has the time gone? We’ve been brewing for almost 15 years.

We’ll never produce factory style beer. Our creative brewers use hop flavours to their full, forever artful in the quite wondrous production of naturally flavoursome beer.

Our roots are firmly in the West Country, where we continue to be inspired by the engineering triumphs of the late great Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
